In order to use RideConnect, you need complete the registration process. This process is comprised of:

• Validating your smartphone handset
• Connecting your Facebook account
• Creating your RideConnect profile
• Selecting a security code

You can also share RideConnect with your friends, as well as enable sharing of your car with your community.

By default, US numbers may be used to validate your handset. For example:

We plan on rolling out RideConnect globally. Please check our product availability chart for the latest updates on phone numbers that can register on RideConnect.

Once your phone is validated, you need to connect your Facebook profile. This is not a required step, but it is recommended that you do so.

Having connected your Facebook profile, you need to complete your RideConnect profile. Most of the information would have been retrieved from your Facebook profile. You can change any of the information shown.

Select a descriptive handle. That's how you'll be identified within the RideConnect ecosystem.

When you're satisfied with your profile, you need to secure it with a security code.

That's it. You're ready to share rides. Since RideConnect is a social application, tell your friends and family about it. You can do so right after you register.

Returning User

If you are a returning RideConnect user and already have a profile, then you will have to go through fewer steps.

Once your smartphone has been validated, RideConnect automatically retrieves your profile and asks you for your security code. If you are able to enter the correct security code, then the registration process is complete.
