What can I do with RideConnect?
RideConnect has been built to enable you to manage your transportation business, offer transportation to your customers and earn money for the services you offer. RideConnect is a single app for both drivers and riders. What this means is that your customers can schedule rides with your service ahead of time or hail rides when they need it.

How do I use RideConnect?
RideConnect is meant to be used on your smartphone in order to operate your transportation business, or to obtain rides from someone in your community who offers transportation.


In order to use RideConnect, you will need to:


  1. Obtain the app from the app store or the play store
  2. Register and give permission to access your phone book


Then if you are going to use RideConnect as a service operator:


  1. Enable your driver profile so that you can give rides
  2. Create a channel so that you can reach people who are not part of your private community
  3. Announce your availability to your community, and share your channel code to your customers


If you are going to use RideConnect as a rider:


  1. If a service provider introduced you to RideConnect, then look out for an invitation from them to join their channel
  2. Optionally, use the code they gave you to join their channel
  3. Invite your friends and family to rideshare with you and the service providers that you get rides with
  4. Schedule your rides on the RideBoard with your service provider or hail a ride if you need one immediately
