A Post is an entry on the RideBoard that announces your travel plans (see image on right).


The Post is made up of the following elements:

  1. Your handle
    1. Your full name
  2. Your picture
  3. The place where you're going, or would like to go
  4. A short message telling others what you need (car seat, wheel chair assistance), rates, pick up details, waiting details


The Post is visible to all your social contacts who are also using RideConnect. The Post is also visible to their social contacts, and Channel.


You have the option of restricting the visibility based on privacy settings.


Your name isn't revealed to anyone beyond your immediate social network. Your friends friends can only see your handle, and not your full name. In this image on the right tulipred's full name is not visible.


  • If you have your driver profile enabled, other users can ask you for a ride off your post. Such requests expire after five minutes. If your driver is in the middle of a ride, please request the ride again after five minutes.
