A driver is any individual on the RideConnect system who has shared their vehicle with their community and is actively accepting ride requests.
A person who is a driver can also be a rider if they are asking for a ride from someone else.
For example, if you have shared your vehicle with your community, then you would be a driver when someone in your community sends out a ride request that you receive.
You would receive a request if:
- It was sent directly to you
- You're within the range of the requester
- You are on the favorites list of the requester
A RideConnect driver is expected to drive the vehicle that they have shared. RideConnect does not condone or encourage car sharing or car rentals through the platform.
