RideConnect Terms and Conditions

By downloading and installing the RideConnect application onto your Android or Apple smartphone, you acknowledge and understand that you are submitting your phone number to RideConnect LLC, and understand that RideConnect LLC will send you a text message to verify that your smartphone is eligible for this service. You also acknowledge and understand that your cell phone provider may charge you for text messaging and data services. RideConnect LLC will store phone number and your contacts information for ride sharing purposes only, and will not use it for any other purpose. From time to time, RideConnect LLC may request you to re-authenticate your smartphone device to confirm that you are still in posession of the same phone number.

Eligibility

The RideConnect smartphone application is being provided as a complimentary download to eligible smartphone users. To determine your eligibility, visit our website to evaluate the version of your smartphone software, and other terms.

The ride sharing service is provided by RideConnect

By downloading and installing this application, you acknowledge that RideConnect LLC is neither responsible for nor guarantees the quality, security, coverage or availability of RideConnect LLC's ride sharing service, and you agree that use of the RideConnect smartphone application is at your own risk.

You also understand that RideConnect does not provide car services, nor does it provide taxi services. It only provides a facility on which you can share rides with other providers of transportation. Those providers of transportation are in no way owned, controlled or monitored by RideConnect LLC.

Use of the ride sharing service is governed by RideConnect's terms

Your use of RideConnect LLC's ride sharing service is subject to RideConnect LLC's customer agreement, end user license agreement and other applicable legal terms and conditions, including RideConnect's privacy and security policies available at www.RideConnect.com. You will be given the opportunity to review RideConnect's customer agreement, end user license agreement and other applicable legal terms and conditions before you enroll for the RideConnect ride sharing service.

Limit of 150 rides coordinated per Month

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth in RideConnect’s legal terms and conditions, eligible users will be permitted to coordinate no more than 150 ride shares per month.

Changes to RideConnect's availability, features and services

Availablity of RideConnect's smartphone application, features and service are subject to change at any time. Review the Availability List for a complete listing of cities where RideConnect is available.

Use of car services is governed by third party's T & Cs

RideConnect does not review the terms of use or make any other evaluation of any partners accessed through the RideConnect ride sharing application. As a consequence, any time you share rides with another RideConnect user through the RideConnect application, you are agreeing to terms that neither you nor RideConnect has reviewed. Please carefully consider whether to use the RideConnect application or continue to manually call for car service.

Enrollment

In order to share rides with the RideConnect application, eligible users will need to first need to download the RideConnect application from the Apple app store or the Google Play store and create a new account with RideConnect. Enrollment in the RideConnect ride sharing program is limited to eligible users.

Termination and Cancellation

Your RideConnect account is non-transferrable and may be terminated for breach of any terms or conditions, as well as for abuse of your RideConnect account. The terms are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

Location data

By downloading the RideConnect application you are giving RideConnect LLC permission to access your locations.
